Shamelessly i have copy and editted this whole blog from another blogger in the hope that this will help my Wedding photography webiste page rank and I will use every opportunity I can to gain web links. If you’re not using anything to track the flow of traffic to your website you need to. Google Analytics is great and its free.SEO (search engine optimization) is a fairly important aspect of your web marketing. Just having a website alone is great dont get me wrong but if you are the only power driving traffic to your site you are not using your site to it's full potential. Being a Exceptional wedding photography in the London and South East England OR it is a given that I want my site to show up on the front page of google for any searches relating to what I do and where I do it. I would start by checking on the tools available to you though your web host as that is a good a simple place to start. Second you need to make a very good keyword and key phrases list that relates to what you do. Some of mine are London and South East England wedding photographer, Event photographer in London and south east England, Party and Celebration photographer in London and South East England, North West London photographer etc. in all combinations that they may be used. Once you have a solid keyword list you need to create your page description (The part under your page title when your site is searched) your page description should contain 4 or 5 or your main keywords in it. Again here is my example "London and South East England Wedding, Celebration and Event photographer Mark Colombusis the gateway for turning imagination into image. Focusing on Wedding, Celebration and Event photography we are dedicated to providing our clients with the highest of photographic quality." You want every part of your site to give the same message and contain your main keywords. Again your page title is another opportunity for key wording. Mine used to say Mark Colombus Photography but that is not going to help anyone so I changed it to Mark Colombus - Exceptional wedding photography in the London and South East England It still says my name and that I am a photographer but now I am relating my name with my keywords.Now the reason for all the links to my website. The more links you have targeted at your website the more places search engines will find you and this will up your search rating. You want to get your link out wherever and whenever you can. If you post on a forum add your link to your signature or like myself if you post on a blog use every opportunity to link to your site. As for the link if you use keywords for the link like in this post you will not only have more points of contact to your site but they will be relating those links with the keywords. Ok so I am no expert and some SEO guru may come along and read this and say this guy is an idiot but as of now this is what I have learned about SEO and how I am using it.
